The Friends Of Saint Eutrope

The friends de Saint-Eutrope a non-profitmaking organization, founded on March 4th, 1988, with the aim of promoting the radiance of its XIIth century church and its the XIIth and XVth century priory as part of the tourist and cultural development of the village.

To emphasize this heritage, the association organises events throughout the year, themed walks, concerts, shows, exhibitions in the priory (during the summer season mid-May until the end of September), guided visits of the church and and country fetes.

Several years ago the association created a choir. Their songs and playlets will introduce you to the old occitan language, especially during a patois evening, normally held in February each year.

The association has produced brochures, postcards and booklets about the church and the priory. Recently a book " The captive of Lavauguyon " was produced. Information on our activities are regularly broadcast by the local media.

If you want to help the association of the Amis de Saint Eutrope to preserve and to reinforce this inheritance by making a donation or becoming member for 16-euro sum a year, you only have to contact us.
